OUR PARTNER:
FEEDING AMERICA

Feeding America is a nationwide network of food banks feeding more than 37 million people each year through food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters in communities nationwide. Together we can solve hunger. There are more than 50 million people in the US who are hungry and over 70 billion pounds of food from manufacturers, growers, and retailers that goes to waste—more than enough to feed them all. If we support the efforts to connect our nation’s excess food to our nation’s empty stomachs, we can begin to solve hunger.

HOW FEEDING AMERICA WORKS

Feeding America’s network of food banks across the country are first-class organizations in the fight against hunger. These food banks distribute food to agencies—such as food pantries, soup kitchens and food shelves—in the surrounding area of each food bank. The agencies then provide food received from food banks to people in need. Visit Feeding America’s website.
